Bismillahi Ar Rahmaan Ar Raheem, With Gd's name The Merciful Benefactor, The Merciful Redeemer. Ash Shahadu an laa ilaaha illaa Llaah I witness that there is only one Gd. He is Gd alone and there is no associate or partner with him in the rule of the heavens and the earth. Wa Ash Shahadu anna Muhammedan rasoolu-Llah I witness that Muhammed is His servant and His messenger; rahmaatan alameen the mercy to all the worlds. Salla Allahu alaihi was salaam the prayers and the peace be upon him with what follows of that salutation or salute to the last prophet.
Muhammed, the prophet, is called the seal of the prophets and also the last prophet; the last prophet and the seal of the prophets. Muhammed, the prophet, represents the conclusion of prophecy and the conclusion of Gd's plan for mankind or human being on this planet Earth. Gd say of him in the Quraan that he is enough for all people. Kaf lin naas. Those are the words of Gd in Quraan. Kaf lin naas that He is enough, He is sufficient as a leader. He is enough for all people. All colors, all nations, all people.
The prophets that Gd sent peace be upon them beginning with the earliest of the prophets Noah and all the prophets after him to Muhammed peace be upon them. They all came to give guidance and be examples to their publics so that their publics would be doing the will of Gd; serving the will of Gd.
Jesus Christ, peace be upon him, according to the Gospel as it exists with the Christian people of the world. He said, "Not my will, but your will", meaning Gd's will. He came to do the will of Gd. Gd is the one that gives guidance for success on this earth and if we go against His guidance we will never have success. In the Qur'aan, he said, "You are the one who has directed us to our paths." Not one path, many paths. The path of science, the path of government---many paths the path of culture---many paths we have. In the sciences have opened up to many paths. It is the plural. The word used is plural of sabeel.
Most of you Muslims sitting here, on this blessed day of Jumu'ah this most blessed day of Jumu'ah, most of you---you know that the word sabeel is path sabeel ul Allah the path of Gd. The plural of sabeel is subool and suboolna means our paths. Our paths. Not one, but many. When talking about Gd and Quraan is saying that Gd is the one that showed us the way to our paths. We could not even have found the path to astronomy, the path of astronomy, the path of the many sciences, the path of medicine. Gd had showed us the way to those paths.
His hand is the whole creation. His hand is the whole creation. Whatever you have gotten from creation, you got it from His hand, from Gd's hand and we get all sciences from creation.
Man has not invented or said, "Shazam" and come up with the sciences. Man has gone to Gd's creation, the material universe and there he has discovered and extracted knowledge and science and guidance for his life. He got it out of Gd's hand. Who gave it to him? Gd. Gd says In the whole creation He holds in one hand. So we can imagine everything that exists, it's like in one hand of Gd. Then Man's future is in the other hand. He holds Man's future in the other hand.
Hands for Gd does not mean hands like this. It means controls. These are controls for doing the wonderful work that we do on the earth for mankind and Gd has in His one control everything that exists in the material world, skies and earth combined. Then, on the other hand, He has the spirit command. He has Man's destiny. He controls man's destiny and He controls the destiny of the universe. This is Gd and He has created everything to help man sakhkhara lakum mafee alssamawati wamafee alardi (Q 31:20). He has made the wholes skies, everything and the earth to yield its utility to you. To yield its service; to yield its usefulness; to yield is utility to man.
We know there was a great prophet. Prophet Abraham who faced the powerful pharaoh. The powerful pharaoh was trying to impose his authority and the prophet resisted. As Abraham said, "Well how are you going to make it without me?" I'm giving you in my words but that is what he said, "How are you going to make it without me?" The prophet replied Allathee khalaqanee fahuwa yahdeeni. The one who created me shall guide me. (Q 26:78). Praise be to Allah.
Was Muhammed guided by a teacher? No. Was Muhammed guided by any except Gd? No. As Muhammed was created by Gd by Allah Ar rahmanu aaallama alqurana khalaqa alinsana (Q 55:1-3) The Merciful Gd taught the Quraan and created the human person Muhammed ?Salla Allahu alaihi was salaam. He is a creation of Gd's word, the Quraan. He was already a perfect human creation that is why Gd selected him. He had created him already from the people. He says when he wants a son he has only to take them from those that He already created.
He had already created Abdullah the father of Muhammed. So He chose one from those that He had already created and he was the perfect child; a perfect child; a perfect youngster and a perfect man at 40 years old. Gd gave him the mission to be a messenger to all the worlds when he was 40 years old. Salla Allahu alaihi was salaam prayers and the peace be upon him. Muhammed was not guided by the world or any of the world's knowledge or any of the world's authorities. Muhammed was only guided by law and he was not taught by anybody. He didn't know scripture. His people were not the people of the book until the Quraan came, then they became a people of the book or people of the Quraan. But before that, they were not people of any scripture and they were all called "Ummiyun" and Prophet Mohammed is one of them.
The single for Ummiyun is "Ummi." He is the Ummi prophet-messenger prophet. Promised in the Old Testament that would come to break all the bonds, the heavy yokes of the people, we think of just the common people; He's just coming to help the common people. Sometimes, the ones carrying the heaviest yokes are those that are lean people.
Yes. There's a saying too, Gd says, "Oppress not and be not oppressed, Oppress not and be not oppressed. This is not to the common people, this is to the leaders. If they oppress their masses, they oppress their publics and deny their publics the blessings of this creation, the many benefits of this creation that Gd created for all of us their own action, their own decision will eventually oppress them and they will become the most oppressed of all the people in their kingdom, the leaders themselves.
Yes, and we see that today. Leaders are in all the terrible trouble, they have so much trouble they have to face every time they open their eyes in the morning they have to face the trouble. Why, because they have messed up the world for the people and have not given their people, the world that Gd gave not just for some, but for all Waibtaghi feemaataka Allahu alddara alakhirata walatansa naseebaka mina addunya(Q 28:77) Seek by the means Gd makes possible for you the afterlife which is the long lasting one. But Gd says walatansa naseebaka mina addunyabut do not forget your share of this material world.
This is the kind of teachings, the rulers do not want you to get, and that is why Islam is persecuted in Islamic lands. Islam is persecuted and so called Muslim countries and nations. Why, because if they will let Islam be-- their people be free to have Islam, they may would have to come down off of their high towers that they do not qualify to be upon in the first place. And they know that.
I like this saying from the Bible say, "Will a man rob Gd? "Will a man rob Gd? Yes, a man will rob Gd-- how does Allah say it to us in Quraan, that they are cheaters; they are cheaters, they cheat you out of the life Gd created you for.
If they cheat you out of the life, they are robbing Gd, because Gd is the one that possess all of that; and he gave it to you to use, for your benefit, he trusted you with it. Now they take it, it was not yours, it was yours to use. So when they take authority over it who do they take it from? Gd. They are robbing Gd.
And in another part in the old Bible it says that, "Before me all were thieves, before me all were thieves." That is a sign of the Jesus Christ as a sign that he is pointing to Muhammed---the comforter to the come. Yes, and he is saying that before the creation of Gd is presented to the world and made free for all---the world will be under--in the hands and not in the thieves.
When you study history, you see that powers have done nothing, but robbed the masses, robbed the masses; That is all they've done, just robbed the masses; and took the world and rule with their exclusive right to have it in all people that they decide to be out of it are out of it.
No more. No more. Muslims cannot accept that. When I saw the wisdom, the beauty and the kindness of the word of Gd for myself said in Quraan, I made up my mind that no one will ever possess my spirit, that no one will ever possess my mind that is for Gd and for Gd alone.
It makes you free. Yes. The word of Gd free us when we get directly from him the way he gave it to his prophets and messengers. When we get it from him, it frees us. It makes us humble ourselves and we are happy to say, "I'm nobody, I'm nobody, Gd is so great, I'm nobody." Yes. "Gd is so high, I'm nobody. Gd is so beautiful, I'm nobody." Praise be to Allah.
It humbles you and that is what we need today; we need people, who are not just our leaders, but they are also our brothers and sisters in obedience to Gd---the creator of the heavens and earth; then we will have success. Muhammed, the prophet also said that he came to guide us and be an example to us, of good character, of good character. And Gd says of him, "We have seen you." Gd says, "WE". He speaks for all in his service, the angels, the prophets and messengers, all. He said, "'We have seen him established on a mighty foundation of character, Muhammed. That his character, khuluqin aatheemin (Q 68:4) a mighty foundation of character, great character, a man of great character, Muhammed, the Prophet.
He comes to invite us, to pursue the best behavior, to choose the best behavior in human life; so that we can also be on a mighty foundation of human excellence. Great character---khuluqin aatheemin---great character, praises be to Allah. Now, also we should understand that Gd does not want us to suffer--
[Sound cut]
They accept suffering. They think religion is supposed to be suffering. "My stomach is not paining from a fasting? Well, let me whip myself a little bit. Hand me a stick and I'll whiplet me flog my sinful soul let me flog my sinful flesh. Let me flog myself." They have to be suffering all the time. Then they think that they are holy. "No, the tease, get that lady away from me. She will kill my righteousness, she will destroy my righteousness. She will pollute my soul
